Kemar Roofe was an unused substitute against Sheffield United on Friday night.

Leeds fans have pleaded with manager Thomas Christiansen to name Kemar Roofe in his starting line-up against Derby County on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old speed machine was left on the substitutes’ bench during Friday night’s disappointing home loss to Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United, despite a poor performance from striker Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
Now, the Whites will be looking to put the 2-1 loss and a run of five defeats in seven league games behind them with three points at Elland Road, in order to keep pace with the Championship’s frontrunners.
Roofe has been in electric form for Leeds this season, scoring six goals and adding three more in assists during his 14 league and cup encounters but has failed to feature in the last two matches.
Fans believes starting attacking midfielder Roofe will Christiansen’s side the best chance of doing just that, as the Whites lacked any kind of cutting edge or attacking tenacity in the final third against the Blades.
Leeds fans took to Twitter in an attempt to persuade Spanish boss Christiansen to start the former Oxford United and West Brom ace, but are undecided on whether he should partner or replace Lasogga, or indeed come in for Ezgjan Alioski.
