Pontus Jansson makes his return to Elland Road on Wednesday having left Leeds United in the summer.

Plenty of Leeds fans on social media have been debating what kind of reception Pontus Jansson should get and will receive when he makes his return to Elland Road on Wednesday.
Jansson left the Whites in the summer after three seasons with the club. He was a cult-hero for much of that time, but there was a sense towards the end of the last campaign that he could well be on his way out – particularly after the images emerged showing Jansson sat against the advertising boards on his own after Marcelo Bielsa’s side were knocked out of the Championship play-offs in incredible circumstances.
What did catch many supporters off-guard was the news that it would be Brentford who would be signing the centre-back, and that the Whites’ Championship rivals would only be paying £5.5 million for a player who was one of the best defenders in the second tier last term (fee reported by Yorkshire Post).
There have been a number of reasons suggested for Jansson’s departure, and that is perhaps why a number of fans have conflicting feelings about the Sweden international’s exit.

Some clearly continue to feel that Jansson should not have been sold, while others have their doubts as to whether he was always a positive presence in the dressing room and believe that Bielsa’s side may be in a better position without him.
Unsurprisingly therefore, there is plenty of discussion taking place on Twitter regarding whether Jansson should be booed when Brentford come to Leeds this week.

The majority of supporters have suggested that they plan to give Jansson whatever reception is more likely to throw him off his game, whether that be a positive one or a negative one.
Some believe that he does not deserve to be booed. Others however, have pointed to his comments in the summer when he suggested that he will hate Leeds when he comes up against them (via Sky Sports), and insisted that they should give it back.
Here is what some of the Leeds supporters are saying on the issue on whether to boo Jansson on Wednesday…
