Leeds travel the short distance to face Hull City away from home on Tuesday night.
Leeds United fans have been made to endure just one win in six games following a blistering start under Marcelo Bielsa, and it could be time for changes to be made ahead of Tuesday’s clash against Hull City.
The Whites travel to the KCOM Stadium to face Nigel Adkins’ outfit, after failing to turn what was an impressive performance into three points against Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.
Bielsa’s side dominated possession and had plenty of chances to win the match but failed to do so at Elland Road, with the match finishing 1-1 as Mateusz Klich’s goal cancelled out Adam Reach’s stupendous opener.
It sees Leeds drop into second behind West Bromwich Albion, after draws against Millwall and Middlesbrough as well as a league loss to Birmingham City and a defeat in the Carabao Cup to Preston.
Bielsa has been consistent with his starting XI of late with a number of first-team stars being sidelined, including Patrick Bamford, Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez. But Gjanni Alioski’s form has coincided with Leeds’ results.
Though he did score against Birmingham City, Macedonia international Alioski has been largely ineffective of late despite starting all of Leeds’ 10 Championship outings.
Fans are desperate for Bielsa to axe Alioski from his starting line-up ahead of Tuesday night’s clash, with the Argentine manager boasting the likes of Stuart Dallas, Jack Harrison and even youngster Jack Clarke as viable options elsewhere.
