Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich has suggested that he is only following Robin Koch as they used to play together at Kaiserslautern.

Eagle eyed Leeds fans spotted that Klich was following Koch last night on Instagram, and they thought they may have picked up on a transfer clue.

The Telegraph have suggested that Leeds want to sign Koch if their bid for Ben White fails.

But Klich was quick to shut down suggestions that he had given the game away that Koch would be joining.

It is now years since Koch and Klich played together at Kaiserslautern, and the Pole may well be hoping for a reunion with his former teammate this summer.

It is clear that Leeds need to make additions in defence right now, as they have a serious lack of options in the position.

With White’s loan ending, Leeds only really have Liam Cooper as a senior player who can start in the heart of their defence.

Koch would, therefore, be a valuable signing, and his performances in Germany suggest that the £22 millon-rated centre-back (Kicker) would bring real quality to Elland Road.
