Aston Villa ace takes on former club this week.

Snodgrass was told he could leave West Ham, and Leeds fans wanted to the club to re-sign their former star.
It’s still unclear how hard Leeds tried, or if they made any attempts at all, with Snodgrass going on to sign with Aston Villa.

Villa’s move for Snodgrass has been a big success, with the former Hull winger helping the team mount a serious play-off push, while Leeds have fallen off.
Snodgrass will feature for Villa against Leeds tonight, and his record stands up as better than any Leeds winger or attacking midfielder this season.
| Team | Assists | |
|---|---|---|
| Robert Snodgrass | Aston Villa | 14 |
| Pablo Hernández | Leeds | 8 |
| Samuel Sáiz | Leeds | 7 |
| Ezgjan Alioski | Leeds | 5 |
| Pawel Cibicki | Leeds | 2 |
| Kemar Roofe | Leeds | 2 |
| Stuart Dallas | Leeds | 1 |
It seems absolutely laughable that Leeds spent close to £2 million to sign Hadi Sacko, who has no assists, when they could have loaned in Snodgrass, who had proven Premier League experience.
Snodgrass has seven goals to his name too, and it would not be a surprise if he added to that against Leeds tonight.
Leeds conceivably have a chance to correct their mistake and sign Snodgrass permanently in the summer, but they look further away than ever from the Premier League, and their chance has surely passed them by.
