The Whites are away from Elland Road today as Marcelo Bielsa and co lock horns with the team managed by Leeds legend Lee Bowyer.

Leeds United cult hero David Prutton has given his pre-match opinion on the Whites upcoming Championship match away at Charlton Athletic on Saturday, in particular the absence of Lyle Taylor (Yorkshire Evening Post).
The Elland Road side will be travelling south to lock horns with a side managed by Leeds legend Lee Bowyer and who have began the season brightly, though they have lost their last two league fixtures.
Leeds, meanwhile, will be hoping to regain top spot in the Championship table come 5pm, having been nudged down into second by Nottingham Forest following their win at Stoke City on Friday night.
Charlton will have to do without top scorer Taylor, who is recovering from a knee injury following his return from international duty with Montserrat – his absence during the Addicks’ back-to-back defeats by Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic was felt by Bowyer’s side.

“They have got some good players, naturally some have left on the back of getting promoted and Lyle Taylor will be a big miss for them whilst he is out injured because I think he is a fantastic footballer,” Prutton wrote in the YEP.
“He is a great leader of the line, a very confident player and he has taken to the Championship like a duck to water so I think if you are a Leeds fan you are quite happy that he is out and if you are a Charlton fan you are quite unhappy that he is unavailable.”
Charlton’s last league meeting with Leeds was in April 2016, winning 2-1 at Elland Road under Jose Riga, while the Whites have won just one of their past 11 league games against Charlton, a 4-2 win at the Valley in November 2013 with Ross McCormack scoring all four (BBC Sport).
