Leeds United might not have to break the bank to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson after all.
The Wales international is heavily linked with a move to Elland Road this summer and The Echo reported this week that the Premier League new boys have already touched base with the champions about bringing Wilson to West Yorkshire.
Thing is, a £20 million asking price is quite a hefty sum and it seems to have been putting Leeds off.
But according to a new report, there may be fresh hope for the Whites.
Goal.com have this morning reported that Liverpool could be about to lower their asking price for the 23-year-old.
The report adds that the Anfield outfit had indeed hoped to get £20 million from selling Wilson, prior to the global health emergency but could now decrease that valuation.
Wilson was relegated from the Premier League with Bournemouth, though seven top-flight goals in 31 outings isn’t a bad return and, in a better team, it would be fascinating to see how he’d fare.
