According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United have no plans to terminate the contracts of forgotten trio Ross Turnbull, Luke Murphy and Toumani Diagouraga.
Leeds have enjoyed a fine run of form recently, winning four of their last five league games as Garry Monk begins to get settled down at Elland Road.

However, three players have been frozen out under Monk, and weren’t even in the squad list on the programme for Saturday’s game against Yorkshire rivals Barnsley.
Goalkeeper Ross Turnbull as well as midfielders Luke Murphy and Toumani Diagouraga have all been left surplus to requirements at Elland Road – but will have to wait until January for a move.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report that, whilst the trio have no futures under Monk at Elland Road, Leeds have no plans to release them from their contracts, as they no doubt pursue transfer fees for all three players in January.
Ross Turnbull
Goalkeeper Turnbull, 31, joined Leeds from Barnsley back in 2015, but has yet to make a first-team appearance due to injury, and is now fourth choice behind Robert Green, Marco Silvestri and Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
Meanwhile, midfielder Murphy has had his ups and downs since joining from Crewe Alexandra in 2013, and has been pushed down the pecking order by the signings of Liam Bridcutt, Eunan O’Kane and Matt Grimes, as well as the emergence of youngsters Kalvin Phillips and Ronaldo Vieira.

Finally, Frenchman Diagouraga, 29, only joined Leeds from Brentford in January as Steve Evans swooped to sign him, but was quickly frozen out by Evans’ replacement Monk.
With no loan window available and free agents unable to sign for clubs after being released following the transfer deadline, all three will have to wait until January to leave, which they surely will do as they look to play first-team football elsewhere.
