Leeds United have confirmed the loan signing of Jamal Blackman.

Leeds United have confirmed the loan signing of Jamal Blackman.
Blackman has joined on loan for the season from Chelsea, becoming new boss Marcelo Bielsa’s second signing.
He joins Chelsea under-23 teammate Lewis Baker, who signed for the Whites in June on a loan deal.
Blackman spent last season out on loan at Championship side Sheffield United.
He has had previous loan spells at Middlesbrough, Wycombe Wanderers and Osterlunds.

Leeds released goalkeepers Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan earlier this transfer window.
Blackman will compete with breakthrough talent Bailey-Peacock Farrell for a number one spot.
The Yorkshire Evening Post has also stated that Blackman will play 45 minutes in Leeds’s pre-season friendly match against Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday, with Bailey Peacock-Farrell also reported to turn out in the game.
Shortly before announcing the signing, Leeds joked about their slow transfer activity so far.
