The Leeds United youngster is making a name for himself.

Leeds United Under-23 coach Jason Blunt has warned Tyler Denton to remain grounded despite his rising stock, in an interview with LUTV.
The 20-year-old made headlines last month after netting the winning goal in a 1-0 League Cup victory at Luton Town on his senior debut for the Whites.

It was something of a dream come true for the left-back, who has been at Leeds since the age of eight, and his stock has since risen significantly.
But Blunt has lived up to his surname with an honest message for Denton, telling the youngster via LUTV that one game does not make him a star.

“It’s great for Tyler, it was a great opportunity for him in his first game, but to concentrate on one game is not enough, one game doesn’t make you a professional footballer.
“But hopefully all the grounding from the coaches [helps him]; as he has been at the academy since he was eight, so everybody has played a part in that goal.”
Denton penned a three-year professional contract back in April, but his short-term prospects in the first team seem unlikely at the moment.
Not only is Charlie Taylor one of the Championship’s best left-backs, but he is also as reliable as they come with regards to injury, having started 44 of Leeds’ last 51 league outings.
But the 22-year-old handed in a transfer request this past summer, which was rejected, so his long-term future may lie away from Elland Road and Denton could be the natural pick to succeed him.
