Swansea City-owned Barnsley striker Oliver McBurnie played against Leeds United at Elland Road at the weekend.

McBurnie featured for Barnsley in the Championship game against Leeds at Elland Road at the weekend.
The 21-year-old striker, who joined Barnsley on loan from Premier League side Swansea City in the January transfer window, did not have a great game, as the home team won 2-1.
Leeds assistant head coach Clapham, though, has praised the former Bradford City striker for his quality.

While praised Leeds defender Matthew Pennington for the way he coped with McBurnie, Clapham told Leeds Live: “He played out of position, played right-back and he did really well there, against McBurnie, who, obviously, everyone’s talking about at the moment.
“He did really well out there because you can see he’s (McBurnie) a talent, he’s got some quick feet, he’s pretty strong as well.”

Leeds United summer target
McBurnie may have failed to have a great audition for a potential Leeds move in the summer transfer window, but there is no doubt that the 21-year-old is a superb footballer who has been great in the Championship since his loan move from Swansea in the January transfer window.
The Scotland international striker has scored eight goals in 13 Championship starts for Barnsley so far.
According to a recent report in The Scottish Sun, the youngster wants to join Leeds, with The Daily Mail claiming that the Whites are ready to make a move for him in the summer transfer window.
