Mateusz Bogusz made his Leeds United debut on Friday, albeit for the Under-23s.

Carlos Corberan has told LUTV that Mateusz Bogusz is a ‘special player’ after making his debut for Leeds United’s Under-23 side on Friday night.
Leeds signed the 17-year-old Polish star from Ruch Chorzow last month, making him one of only two January signings by the Whites – the other being goalkeeper Kiko Casilla.
Bogusz, a midfielder, played the full 90 minutes as United’s youth side drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest at the Impact Arena in Alfreton
The player himself revealed last month that he was signed as an Under-23 player originally, but manager of that side Corberan claims that the youngster can achieve ‘very positive’ things with Leeds going forward.
He told LUTV: “I think Mateusz is a young but very talented player. He’s only a few weeks here in the club.
“I think he’s a special player and I think he can give some very positive things for this club.”
Bogusz will obviously be hoping to break into Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team squad as soon as possible.
And although it’s a long shot, he could possibly be considered for a senior debut before the season is over.
Kemar Roofe is potentially out for up to eight weeks with a knee ligament injury and given that Bogusz is a number 10, maybe Bielsa will use him from now until May.
