Wolves beat Leeds 4-1 at Molineux.

Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has backed Wolves to win promotion.
Wolves beat Leeds United 4-1 at Molineux to extend their lead at the top of the division to four points.
They were 2-0 up at half-time and a second half rally by Leeds was ended abruptly by Ronaldo Vieira’s red card.

Leeds boss Thomas Christiansen was asked about Wolves’ chances the rest of the season after the game and if they were Premier League bound.
He agreed, telling BBC Radio Leeds: “I believe they are a very strong team, and they will promote directly.”
He went on to add to BBC Sport: “We have faced the best team in the league tonight. Their pace and movement is exceptional.”
Wolves spent smartly in the summer and while their success does not come as a surprise, it is not always easy for new players and a new coach to gel so instantly.
Their early success will only make it easier to attract further new additions in the January transfer window and pull further away from the pack as they bid to tool up for the top flight.
