Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa was in no rush to use striker.

Patrick Bamford made his return to the matchday squad for Leeds United at the weekend for the win against QPR.
Bamford was named on the bench for Leeds at Elland Road, but manager Marcelo Bielsa made his position very clear.
Having just recovered from a knee injury, Bamford is still only being considered as an emergency option.
Leeds won a close battle against QPR 2-1, making two substitutes, only one of which was an attacking change.
Bielsa evidently had faith in the fitness and ability of his players to close out the game, and he felt it was too intense a moment to re-introduce Bamford.

There were two scenarios Leeds could have brought Bamford on.
Either Leeds would have been chasing the game and it would have been a last ditch gamble, or Leeds could have been winning comfortably, and felt the moment was right to give Bamford a few minutes.
The circumstance of the QPR contest did not fit, and Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa made evident that he does not wish to rush Bamford unnecessarily.
Leeds paid £7 million to sign Bamford from Middlesbrough in the summer, and he barely got started before picking up an injury.
The Whites travel to Bolton on Saturday, and Bamford will probably have to settle for a place on the bench again.
