Leeds United loaned Lewie Coyle to Fleetwood Town in the summer, and it seems like he’ll be staying there for now.

Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa has intimated that he has enough full-back options at his disposal, when asked about potentially recalling Lewie Coyle.
United have been rocked by the news that Luke Ayling has been ruled out for up to two months with a knee injury, while Bielsa reiterated on Friday that Berardi – also a right-back – remains absent “for a long time”.
Normally a midfielder, Stuart Dallas looks likely to start on the right-hand side of defence on Sunday when Leeds visit Wigan Athletic, but many fans of the Elland Road club want to see Bielsa bring the popular Lewie Coyle – a Thorp Arch academy product – back to West Yorkshire.
The 23-year-old is impressing on a season-long loan with Fleetwood Town in League One, under Joey Barton.
Asked during a press conference, as quoted by Leeds Live, whether the Argentine will recall Coyle, he said: “I can’t give you a positive answer, nor a negative one.
“What I can tell you is Dallas played well as a left full-back, as did [Jamie] Shackleton.
“From January we will have the possibility to get back our four injured players. Berardi, Bamford, Ayling, Brown.”
Going by that, it seems unlikely that Bielsa will be bringing Coyle back to Leeds any time soon.
He and Director of Football Victor Orta can hardly be blamed for loaning him out, because few could’ve foreseen this injury crisis and Coyle needed playing time.
