The Leeds head coach is still discussing the 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers.
Leeds United boss Steve Evans has joked that QPR entered his side’s half just three times when the two teams drew 1-1 recently, according to the club’s official Twitter feed.
QPR have enjoyed a stronger second half of the season under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, while Leeds have been hit and miss over the last few months.
But Evans is still reeling from the 1-1 draw the clubs played out recently, believing United should have won.
Evans told reporters: “I don’t think anyone doesn’t think we should have beaten QPR. I think they entered our half about three times over the 90 minutes!”
The 1-0 loss at Burnley that followed will have frustrated Evans even further.
And United supporters will have been even more livid than the coach himself – seeing their side lose only to have their manager go on about how good they were in defeat.
But he may have had a point, of course, as Leeds finally reaped the rewards of their hard work against Birmingham City earlier this week.
Evans’ men won 2-1 and will host Reading at Elland Road during their next Championship clash this Saturday afternoon.
