Vieira, 18, was handed a debut on the last day of last season by former boss Steve Evans, and new head coach Garry Monk has made him a regular starter.
Speaking to his press conference ahead of this weekend’s Burton Albion fixture, Monk praised Vieira when quizzed about his progress.
Monk told TV Yorkshire: “I said we’ve got really talented players here. Ronnie is def one. I could see that from day one when I came into the club, so I brought him straight into the first team like a few of the others.
“They’ve been doing well. They are still not the players they are going to be but they are improving, and their attitudes are fantastic.”

Leeds have always thrived from the talents rising up from their youth team into the first team, and tied Ronaldo Vieira to a new contract earlier this season.
