Leeds United beat the Welsh side 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United boss Garry Monk has paid tribute to the quality of Pablo Hernandez, in an interview with TV Yorkshire.
The Whites beat Cardiff City 2-0 in South Wales on Saturday night for what was their second successive Championship win, having edged out Blackburn Rovers 2-1 during the week.

Second-half goals from Chris Wood and Hernandez did the damage in the Welsh capital as Leeds look set to put a run of decent form together, for the first time since Monk got the job back in June.
Wood’s opener just after the hour mark came from the penalty spot, after Pontus Jansson was fouled following Hernandez’s corner, but the Spaniard’s effort on 83 minutes was a moment of real quality.

Monk, who knew him from his time at Swansea, signed the ex-Valencia man on a six-month loan, and the 38-year-old manager was complimentary toward his playmaker afterwards.
Asked by TV Yorkshire about Hernandez’s goal, Monk said: “Yeah, that’s the quality Pablo has. I thought he had a very good game. He was the one in the first half who looked like making something happen.
“I talked about it [at half time] about how if we could keep using him and using our attacking players a little bit more than we’ll get chances.”
Leeds, now 15th in the Championship, get ready for back-to-back home games; first by hosting Blackburn in the League Cup on Tuesday night, before welcoming Ipswich Town to Yorkshire next Saturday.
