Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has reportedly chosen not to reintegrate Pawel Cibicki.

Marcelo Bielsa manager of Leeds United looks on prior to the Sky Bet Championship match between Sheffield United and Leeds United at Bramall Lane on December 01, 2018 in Sheffield, England.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa has reportedly made a decision already over Pawel Cibicki, who has returned from his loan with Molde.

The Yorkshire Evening Post report Bielsa has chosen not to integrate Cibicki into the first team, and has instructed Leeds to sell him.

While perhaps disappointing to some fans who want to see him given a chance, this is actually an encouraging sign for Leeds.

Adding Cibicki to the squad right now is the easy option. Leeds could do with reinforcements in wide areas, and he has scored three goals and provided three assists in 12 games for Molde.

Bielsa instead is sticking to his guns, and staying true to his original assessment of Cibicki. He is refusing to sway from his stance, purely because of a team need.

Instead his decision opens up greater possibilities.

Leeds can raise a bit of money from potentially selling Cibicki, and they are likely to instead look to the transfer market to find an alternative.

Already Leeds are being linked to Besiktas winger Jeremain Lens, Turkish outlet ASpor report.

Bielsa’s choice offers a hint he could even be planning a move already, and wants a more ambitious option than Cibicki, who can better help their promotion chances.
