Leeds United have announced their squad numbers for the 2014/15 campaign.
Leeds United have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2014/15 season.
In what has been a busy summer of arrivals and departures at Elland Road – with no fewer than 15 players joining the Yorkshire side – there are a number of new players who have had to be given shirts at the club.
The Whites have handed exciting, young Brazilian capture Adryan the number 9, suggesting he could be in-line for a start, whilst Brian Montenegro, another late signing, has been given the number 26.
More controversially Noel Hunt has been handed the number 10 shirt and, given that he has not scored a goal for over a year now, this is set to be a frustrating decision for Leeds fans.
There were also squad numbers handed out to youth-team prospects Lewis Cook (23), Chris Dawson (24), Ross Killock (25) and Alex Cairns (30), amongst others, whilst no player was given the number 17 shirt due to owner, Massimo Cellino’s, hatred of it.
