Speaking on BBC Radio Leeds, Angus Kinnear has made a transfer prediction about Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips.
The Leeds CEO was talking about all-things Leeds United, and as you can imagine, after Phillips’ incredible performance against Croatia, there’s been discussion about the midfielder’s future.
Kinnear predicts that if the Yorkshire Pirlo continues to perform how he has done so far at Euro 2020 Leeds will get some transfer offers this summer, but he says Leeds are very confident of keeping hold of their prized asset.

Kinnear believes that if Phillips puts in a few more star performances at the Euros, Leeds will get a few bids for the midfielder.
“We just need Kalvin to keep a little bit of a lid on it in the Euros because if he plays like that again we’ll get some offers, but we’re very confident,” Kinnear said.
“It says a lot about Leeds United that Kalvin is proving what all Leeds United fans know about what a great midfielder he is.
“We also know his future is secured at Leeds United. He wants to be here, we want him to be here and that’s a measure of where the club’s got to.”
He’s good enough
Phillips is certainly good enough to continue starring at Euro 2020, and if he does, big clubs may come calling.
Phillips has the talent to play for any club in England, but as Kinnear says, Leeds are confident they’ll be able to keep him, and so they should be.
The Yorkshire Pirlo is a boyhood Leeds fan, so it’s hard to imagine how any club could convince him to leave Elland Road.
