Striker Leeds United sold is now up and running in Belgium.

Kemar Roofe of Anderlecht looks dejected during the Jupiler Pro League match between AS Eupen and RSC Anderlecht at Kehrwegstadion on October 25, 2019 in Eupen, Belgium.

Kemar Roofe scored twice last night for Anderlecht in his best game yet for his new club.

The Belgian club signed Roofe from Leeds United in the summer in a surprise move.

Roofe began the season with an injury and has only recently started playing.

Prior to last night he had one goal in four appearances. Now his brace makes his record of three goals in five games look a lot better.

Roofe scored two second half goals, one a penalty, to give Anderlecht a 3-1 lead over Gent.

His performance had Anderlecht fans purring.

The positivity did not last too long, with Anderlecht conceding two late goals including one in the fourth minute of injury time, with the game ending 3-3.

Leeds fans took not of Roofe’s performance too, with supporters still worried that his sale will prove a big error.

Roofe was entering the final year of his contract, which influenced Leeds’ decision to accept Anderlecht’s £7 million offer.
