According to 90min, Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United are now just £4.5 million away from signing Angers midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, a player Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in.
Leeds just £4.5m away from signing Tottenham target Azzedine Ounahi
The report has claimed that Leeds have offered Angers €25 million (£22.13 million) for Ounahi, who played for Morocco at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and was described as “absolutely incredible” by AS Roma head coach Jose Mourinho in Goal in December 2022.
The French club are looking for €30 million (£26.55 million) for 22-year-old midfielder.
So, Leeds are essentially just €5 million (£4.43 million) away from agreeing a deal with Angers.
And then of course the West Yorkshire club have to agree personal terms with Ounahi.

Blow for Spurs
This will come as a blow for Leeds’s Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who have also been linked with the youngster.
According to a report in La Repubblica this month, Tottenham have been in talks with Angers over Ounahi.
We covered the report here on HITC Sport.
If Tottenham want to sign the youngster now, then they simply have to bid of their own.
It is as simple as that.
€30 million (£26.55 million) is not really much, and for a 22-year-old, that could prove to be a bargain for Tottenham, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season and have also reached the knockout rounds of the UEFA Champions League.
