Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to former Elland Road favourite Gaetano Berardi returning to Thorp Arch.
Gaetano Berardi back at Leeds’s Thorp Arch
Leeds’s official Twitter have posted a shot clip of Berardi returning to Thorp Arch.
The 33-year-old was on the books of Leeds from 2014 until the summer of 2021.
The defender had his best years at Elland Road and is very popular among the Leeds fans.
Berardi, who was at Thorp Arch, is without a club at the moment.
What are Leeds United fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Leeds fans are delighted to see Berardi back at the club’s training ground, Thorp Arch.
Well, some of them anyway.
Some Leeds supporters actually want the club to get the defender back in the team in some capacity.

Could it happen?
Leeds have had injury problems, and Berardi does not have a club.
However, in our opinion, it is unlikely that the Premier League club will give the 33-year-old any contract.
Yet, it is great to see that the relationship between Berardi and the Leeds players is still so strong.
