The Gers skipper was talking up the striker ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm derby.
Lee Wallace celebrates after scoring the first goal for Rangers
Rangers captain Lee Wallace has paid tribute to his Gers teammate and club legend Kenny Miller, as the Glasgow outfit prepare for their Old Firm grudge match against rivals Celtic on Saturday.
Speaking to the Rangers website, Wallace pointed to Miller’s dedication and professionalism, as the striker looks to add to his eight goals against the Bhoys in Old Firm matches.
“Kenny is a top performer, we all know that,” Wallace is quoted as saying by Rangers.co.uk. “What he is doing day in day out, I don’t think many of us have seen it before.

“It has been documented and the manager has said it a hundred and one times, and Dom Ball mentioned it last season and that is a young boy coming from a Tottenham team that train with a real intensity.
“For these guys to come outside and into these walls at the training ground and notice that, it speaks volumes and it’s not changed for Kenny.
“That is Kenny, we know that he is that type of player and he has done that throughout his whole career.”
Despite his 36 years, Miller has already proven this season that he still has something to offer a club chasing the title, netting twice after starting all four of his club’s league matches.

The former Scotland international hit 21 goals to help Rangers to the title last season, his joint second best goal return for the Gers in what was his third spell at the club.
Miller hit 18 goals in 69 matches for Scotland during an international career that spanned 12 years, leaving him sixth in the all time scoring list, and just one behind Ally McCoist, another famous Ibrox hotshot.
And Wallace, who has shown himself to be a consistent performer and a vital figure as the Gers smashed through the divisions in their return to the Scottish Premiership, claimed his teammate should be classed one of Scotland’s best ever players.
“He’s played at a top level,” Wallace added. “He’s played Champions League football, he has a number of caps and should be a Hall of Famer for his country.
“He’s going on to be a legend at this football club, we all know that, and I think the fans know that. It’s great for him of course but, right now, I think he is doing everything right.”
