Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers duo Scott Arfield and Alfredo Morelos have impressed former Gers captain Lee McCulloch.
Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield
Arfield joined Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Burnley in the Premier League in England at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
The 29-year-old midfielder has had injury issues this season, but when fit, the Canada international has been superb for Steven Gerrard’s side.
McCulloch, who was on the books of Rangers from 2007 until 2015, has raved about Ibrox midfielder Arfield.
The former Scotland international has also praised Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos for his performances for the Gers so far this campaign.
“I have been hugely impressed by Scott Arfield,” McCulloch wrote in The Glasgow Evening Times.
“I played against him during his Falkirk days before he moved south and enjoyed a good time at Burnley. I felt in the summer he would be a good signing and now he’s fit has been terrific.”
McCulloch wrote about Morelos in The Glasgow Evening Times: “I have loved watching him this season. Okay, there have been two red cards – one which has been rescinded – and the temper is always there, something he will deal with as he gets older.
“However, the most important thing is that he wants the ball, is ready to try something different and is scoring goals.”

Major player
Just like Arfield, Morelos is a major player for Rangers and is playing well for the Gers at the moment.
The 22-year-old Colombia international striker is leading the line up for the Gers, and the youngster can only develop and progress in the coming months and years.
Rangers are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title this season and are also playing in the Europa League group stage.
