Leeds United are reportedly interested in the 28-year-old.
Speaking on BBC Radio Bristol, Bristol City boss Lee Johnson has revealed that Leeds United have not asked about Aden Flint.
The Mirror reported on Monday that Leeds are willing to offer the big centre-back a lucrative contract to swap Ashton Gate for Elland Road this summer, after making contact.
Flint has been linked with the Whites since last month when he ‘liked’ a tweet which suggested he join Thomas Christiansen’s side this summer.

If they are interested, United could face competition from Birmingham City after manager Harry Redknapp admitted his affection for the defender on Monday.
And although Johnson swiftly denied reports of a Leeds bid, he did take a moment to express his dissatisfaction over Redknapp speaking publicly about one of his players.
Asked on BBC Radio Bristol if the Yorkshire side had enquired about him, Johnson said: “Certainly not Leeds.
“But with Harry coming out publicly talking about one of our players – which I didn’t particularly like – and I will have to politely remind Harry that Bristol City players are not to be talked about by other managers as I would respect Birmingham City’s players.”
Leeds are said to be in the market for another centre-back.
Matthew Pennington looks a very good signing to be fair, after joining on loan from Everton for the season, but Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson remain the club’s only other options in the middle of defence.
