City suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds at home in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Patrick Bamford scored the only goal of the match at the Ashton Gate Stadium early on.
City manager Johnson was impressed with the performance of Leeds and have praised Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Johnson told Leeds Live about Leeds: “Their back two are very aggressive on the front foot. Midfield disrupt well because of their energy and appetite to get tight.
“Mental calmness to be able to pick out and execute that delivery required. That was my frustration more than anything. Couldn’t get enough love of the ball, if you like, to kill them when they needed to be killed.”
The City boss added: “Leeds are very good at disrupting teams. That’s why they’re where they are.”

The result means that Leeds are now second in the Championship table with 70 points from 36 matches, just two points behind leaders Norwich City.
As for City, they are currently seventh in the league standings with 54 points from 35 matches.
