Chelsea-owned Tammy Abraham featured for Bristol City against Leeds United in the Championship on Tuesday.

Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has revealed to The Bristol Post Leeds United’s tactics against Tammy Abraham earlier this week.
City faced Leeds at the Ashton Gate Stadium in the Championship on Tuesday evening. The home team won the match, thanks to Marlon Pack’s goal just before the hour mark.
Abraham, who joined City on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, featured in the match. The 18-year-old forward started the game and played for 78 minutes.
City manager Johnson has revealed that the youngster was punched in the face by a Leeds player in the first half of the game.
The former Oldham Athletic and Barnsley boss has suggested that Leeds’s extreme measures against Abraham will have helped him.

“Tammy told me he got a punch in the face in the first half,” Johnson told The Bristol Post about Abraham. ”Leeds are very strong and they tried to lock him out. He got hit a couple of times and it was a good game for him.
“When defenders do that to him, it is a compliment really. If I was a defender, I definitely wouldn’t want to mark him.”
“These things are all testing him and that’s why Chelsea sent him out on loan in the first place,” added the City manager.
“After getting punched in the face, I was interested to see how he would be when he came out for the second half. I wanted to see if he could handle the physical intimidation.”

City are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with 17 points from 10 matches.
The Robins will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Nottingham Forest at the Ashton Gate Stadium in the Championship.
As for Leeds, Garry Monk’s side currently find themselves 14th in the league table with 13 points from 10 matches.
