Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough reportedly want Bristol City’s Joe Bryan.

Joe Bryan is a player in demand, with Leeds United, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Middlesbrough all reportedly interested in the Bristol City left-back.
According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 14:31pm, Tuesday, July 3, 2018), Leeds and Middlesbrough are interested in signing the 24-year-old, who can also operate as a wing-back (click here to read more).
The Bristol Post has credited Wolves – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship – with interest in Bryan, while The Sun has claimed that Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle are posed to make an offer of £6 million for him.
Bryan is one of the best left-backs in the Championship, and there is no surprise that Leeds, Wolves, Newcastle and Middlesbrough all are reportedly interested in the City star.
City manager Lee Johnson, though, has suggested that the left-back could sign a new contract with the Robins.

Johnson told The Bristol Post regarding Bryan signing a new contract: “Well I hope so. As I’ve said before there are a number of different agendas in a particular transfer as there are in a potential signing.
“There’s the agents to take into account, there’s the club and manager, there’s the other club that want to buy or sell…
“There are so many factors and that’s even forgetting the player – and he wants to play as high as he can for as long as he can.”
Johnson added: ”But at the moment we feel that the clubs that would be in for Joe we would be very competitive against. And inevitably it will be down to Joe and what he wants. If Joe wants to knuckle down and sign…
“I think his form suffered at the end of last season – we’ve had a lot of conversations and that’s not me putting Joe Bryan down because everybody knows that I love him to be bits.opportunity.”
Bryan has been on the books of City his entire professional club football career, and the 24-year-old could well decide to commit his long-term future to the Robins.
However, it is probably time for the left-back to move on and join a bigger and more ambitious club.
