The Rangers right-back as allowed to leave Ibrox by Steven Gerrard last summer.

Lee Hodson has returned to Rangers three months ahead of schedule.
The right-back was due to spend the rest of the season with Rangers’ Premiership rivals, St Mirren.
But it is possible he has played his last game for the Buddies after injuring his ankle against Celtic of all clubs.
The St Mirren manager, Oran Kearney, is alleged to have told the Scottish Sun: “Lee is back at Rangers now and won’t be available again for at least eight to ten weeks.
“It was a bad one at the time and it was only the fact he had a strapping on his ankle that saved him from more damage.
“He’s got away with it, all things considered, even though he’s still going to miss ten to 12 weeks.
“Lee had been playing well at the time and his versatility will be a miss as he was able to fill in on a numbTer of positions.”
Hodson found himself out of favour following Steven Gerrard’s arrival as Rangers manager and was soon loaned out to St Mirren.
With his Ibrox contract due to expire this coming summer, it is possible the Northern Ireland international has also played his last game for Rangers.

Hodson already had James Tavernier and Jon Flanagan ahead of him in the Gers’ pecking order, before Matt Polster added to his list of competitors last month.
The 27-year-old is alleged to have told the Herald last year: “If the opportunity came for me to stay [at St Mirren] and there was a contract on the table I wouldn’t say no.
“Whatever options there are I’ll be open-minded.”
