Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce brought on Andre Green for Albert Adomah last night.

Green was brought on by Steve Bruce in the latter stages of Villa’s match against Brentford, but he only had a limited impact
Indeed, Hendrie actually felt that Villa lost some impetus in the contest after the youngster was introduced.
Green was introduced with the score locked at 1-1, but Brentford began to take a stranglehold on the match in the latter stages.
The Bees did take the lead for the second time in the night, but Villa showed their powers of recovery to comeback and claim a point in the last minute.
And Hendrie said: “It was shown this evening that when young players come on the scene and get the chance to go and play, they were posing a massive threat down the left with Adomah, but I felt they lost that as soon as he went off.
“I want to see more from Andre. That was his chance. I want to see a lot more. That was were the game changed a little bit, as Brentford had a lot of play from 65 minutes onwards.”

Green has been pushing for first-team starts at Villa for some time, but his chances of breaking through could be knocked.
Villa are set to bring in Yannick Bolasie and they have already added Anwar El-Ghazi to increase Steve Bruce’s options going forward.
