Aston Villa have failed to win any of their last five Championship matches.

Villa had comeback quickly when they were set back in the first half, with Josh Onomah putting the claret and blues back on level terms just eight minutes after they had conceded to Romaine Sawyers.
However, Villa’s powers of recovery were not as strong in the second period, as they fell to defeat.
Villa simply couldn’t get back into the game, after Lasse Vibe put Brentford back in front.

And Hendrie claims that Villa have switched off for periods of matches far too often this season.
Hendrie said: “I think that in the second half Villa didn’t turn up for 20 minutes. It took 20 minutes for Villa to respond to going behind. That has happened too much this season. Villa could have got back into the game, but there wasn’t that fight from them.”
Villa have now failed to win any of their last five matches, with Bruce coming under increasing pressure.

The Villans are without some of their key players through injury, and their absences have been felt.
Villa have slipped down to eighth in the Championship table, and sit three points outside the top six.
Bruce’s men are next in action against Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday.
