Ronaldo Vieira played well for Leeds United last Friday.

Leeds United played out a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa at home last week.
The Whites took the lead against the Villans at Elland Road in the Championship on Friday evening in the first half, but Steve Bruce’s side scored the equaliser in the second period.
Sweden international central defender Pontus Jansson put the West Yorkshire outfit in the lead at Elland Road after just 19 minutes, and former Nottingham Forest midfielder Henri Lansbury restored parity for the Villans on 71 minutes.
Ronaldo Vieira featured in the match for Leeds against Villa, and the 19-year-old midfielder played well. Kalvin Phillips, 22, also starred for the Whites in midfield against the Villans.

Former Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie and ex-Wolves man Keith Andrews were following the game for Sky Sports, and both spoke highly of Vieira.
Andrews said on Sky Sports Football last Friday evening (10:07pm, December 1, 2017) following the match between Leeds and Villa: “Very impressed (with Ronaldo Vieira), and with Kalvin Phillips I must add as well into that equation.
“The age he is, how composed he is on the ball in tight situations, both of them have real aggression and when they close down, they do with such intensity that it knocks you off your stride, it really does.”
Hendrie said on Sky Sports Football last Friday evening (10:08pm, December 1, 2017) following the match between Leeds and Villa: “What I like about him is that you find defensive star midfielders who just want to get the ball and give it out to the full-back. He likes to look forward, that’s what I like about him.”

The result last Friday evening means that Leeds are now eighth in the Championship table with 30 points from 20 matches, while Villa are currently fifth with 36 points.
