The Sheffield Wednesday assistant manager’s tweet was generally well received.

Lee Bullen appears to have taken an albeit playful swipe at Sheffield Wednesday fans critical of one Owls player’s recent performances.
Cameron Dawson was elevated to Wednesday’s first choice goalkeeper ahead of the new campaign – at the expense of both Joe Wildsmith, another Owls academy graduate, and Keiren Westwood, the long-serving Hillsborough number one.
But despite helping Jos Luhukay’s side to sixth in the Championship – after a run of one defeat in nine matches – the 23-year-old has struggled to win over a section of the Sheffield Wednesday fanbase.

Liam Palmer is another Owls player used to playing the role of scapegoat, and when Bullen was asked on Twitter if he had any words for the right-back, after footage of him misplacing a simple pass during Sunday’s win at Bristol City was circulated online, the Hillsborough assistant manager replied: “It’s Dawson’s fault……”
And although Bullen’s tweet was generally well received by the Sheffield Wednesday faithful, some appeared unamused.
Should Sheffield Wednesday stick with Cameron Dawson in goal?
