The Sheffield Wednesday coach has been vocal about the man’s antics on Twitter.
The Sheffield Wednesday coach, Lee Bullen, has hit out at a supposed Owls supporter who trademarked the club’s ‘WAWAW’ motto.
The Star reported on Tuesday how Paul Jennings, a Woodseats man who paid for a box at Hillsborough last season, had registered ‘WAWAW’ – meaning ‘We’re All Wednesday, Aren’t We?’ – in June last year.
The newspaper claims Wednesday have since lodged an application with the Government’s Intellectual Property Office to get the registration overturned, having incorporated ‘WAWAW’ into various pieces of merchandise, including the Owls’ replica kits, in recent years.
And Bullen posted the following tweet earlier, in response to the story:
It is another unwelcome development for those of Sheffield Wednesday persuasion, who had earlier learned via The Sun that their side has again been placed under a soft transfer embargo by the English Football League.
The ban is said to have been imposed as a result of the Owls’ failure to submit their accounts on time to the governing body.
