Celtic and West Ham United have renewed their interest in signing Derby County left back Lee Buchanan during this month’s transfer window.
That’s according to Derbyshire Live, who claim that Buchanan finds himself in demand early into the January window.
It’s stated that Nottingham Forest are keen, in a move that would leave Derby fans gutted.
There is interest elsewhere though, with Celtic and West Ham back in for Buchanan having been linked in the past.
Watford and even Cercle Brugge are keen too, with teams in Germany even having a look.
Derby are understandable reluctant to lose Buchanan, and whilst his contract ends this summer, the Rams can extend it by a year.
The 20-year-old left back has played 15 Championship games this season, continuing to show huge potential after emerging in the Derby ranks.

Derby boss Wayne Rooney has admitted that he thinks Buchanan is already a ‘real top player’ so early into his development.
Celtic could stand to add another left back with Greg Taylor far from nailed on as first choice and Boli Bolingoli’s future unclear.
Reo Hatate could play there, but adding a natural left back for the future in Buchanan makes sense.
As for West Ham, they have been linked with a left back in Lucas Digne, but Buchanan would be one for the future behind Aaron Cresswell.
Derby will now be on red alert this month, with Buchanan clearly wanted elsewhere.
