Will the Tottenham Hotspur boss respect the Europa League this season?
Ledley King has told The Mail that Tottenham Hotspur should try to win the Europa League this season.
Tottenham entered into Europe’s secondary competition after finishing third in Group E of the Champions League, behind Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen.
Spurs sit fifth in the Premier League and three points behind Manchester City but a big improvement is needed if they are going to finish in the top four.

Consequently, winning the Europa League this season might well be the Lilywhites’ best route into next season’s edition of the Champions League.
And Tottenham legend King says manager Mauricio Pochettino should try to win it.
“We should try to win it (the Europa League),’ he told The Mail.
“There’s always an argument over how it affects your league form, but as a player you get used to playing midweek.
“I’d like to see the team go for it, especially considering there’s a Champions League spot up for grabs for the winners.
“It will be difficult, and I’ve got faith in the team to make it [into the Champions League by finishing in the top four] but you need to take every chance you have.'”

Last season, Pochettino effectively threw the Europa League in a bid to concentrate on winning the Premier League.
He regularly named a very under-strength side and it remains to be seen if he will continue to do so when the knockout stages commence in the new year.
