Tottenham face Juventus on Tuesday after beating Arsenal on the weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur legend Ledley King has claimed in his blog “Seven of the Best” that Spurs need to be more ruthless in front of goal if they are to beat Juventus on Tuesday night.
Spurs earned a 1-0 win over north London rivals Arsenal on Saturday lunchtime thanks to Harry Kane’s 32nd goal of the season, which saw him head home an excellent Ben Davies cross past goalkeeper Petr Cech.
However, Kane was guilty of spurning a number of chances as was Son Heung-Min and Christian Eriksen during the narrow win. Arsenal almost took advantage late on, only for Alexandre Lacazette to miss two golden chances.
Former Spurs captain King reckons his old side need to take their chances if they are to dispose of Juventus in the Champions League Round of 16 tie, as the Old Lady have not conceded in 2018.
“It should have been a more resounding scoreline though,” King said. “Petr Cech kept the Gunners in it with a defiant performance.
“Spurs will need to be a lot more clinical in-front of goal in their upcoming Champions League tie against Juventus, who have not yet conceded a goal in 2018.”

Masimilliano Allegri’s side have rediscovered their defensive nous by conceding just one goal in their last 14 outings, most recently beating Fiorentina 2-0 away from home.
Despite losing Leonardo Bonucci last summer to AC Milan, they still boast the likes of Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli, Gianluigi Buffon, Alex Sandro and Stephan Lichsteiner in defence and Spurs will have to be at their best to score.
