Tottenham Hotspur legend wants fans to get behind the team.
Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Ledley King has urged supporters to turn up in force for this evening’s Champions League game against CSKA Moscow.
Spurs were eliminated from the competition a week ago as they lost away to Monaco, and it would be understandable that the record Wembley crowds seen in their opening match substantially dipped.

Tottenham have lost both their matches at Wembley in the competition 2-1, having failed to adjust to switching the venue of their ‘home’ games away from White Hart Lane, a decision deemed necessary due to demand for tickets and ongoing construction work at their main stadium.
Ledley King wants this evening’s match to still see a significant turn out, and commenting on Twitter, urged supporters to fill the stadium.
Despite their elimination there is still something to play for, with a draw or win set to confirm their participation in the Europa League knockout phases.
A win for CSKA would see the Russian side take their spot instead.
While the benefits of playing in the Europa League have been dubious, Spurs are expected to win this evening against the only team they have beaten in the Champions League so far.
