Ledley King has shared his view on Tottenham Hotspur’s morale-boosting 4-0 demolition at Stoke City on Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side moved fourth in the Premier League table with a resounding victory at the Britannia Stadium yesterday.

Son Heung-min scored in both halves to put Tottenham in a commanding position, with Dele Alli and Harry Kane fattening the advantage later on in the half.

Spurs remain unbeaten in the Premier League, with eight points from a possible 12 and some very tricky fixtures – including Everton and Stoke away, and Liverpool at home – ticked off the list for Pochettino and co.

And the club’s legendary centre-back King was certainly impressed as the former Lilywhites captain gave his opinion on Twitter afterwards yesterday.

King, and indeed every Spurs affiliate, will be hoping for more of the same on Wednesday night as Pochettino’s side welcome Monaco to Wembley for their first Champions League outing for over five years.

It promises to be a memorable occasion, but the Principality outfit are likely to put up a better fight than the Potters.
