Ledley King has expressed his delight on Twitter, after Tottenham Hotspur’s wonderful victory over Real Madrid in the Champions League last night.

Spurs ran out 3-1 winners over Los Blancos, and they largely dominated the contest.

The result will rank among the greatest in Tottenham history and King, who was in attendance at Wembley, was ecstatic to be able to watch the game alongside his former teammate Rafael van der Vaart, calling the whole evening ‘magical’.

Tottenham were absolutely sensational against Madrid, as they sent out a statement to the rest of Europe.

Spurs took the lead when Dele Alli latched on to Kieran Trippier’s cross to poke the ball home from close range, and they never looked back.
