Moussa Sissoko posted another all-action midfield display for Tottenham Hotspur today.

Ledley King has told Sky Sports he believes that Moussa Sissoko is the perfect replacement for Mousa Dembele at Tottenham Hotspur.
Sissoko produced another midfield masterclass this afternoon as Tottenham thumped Huddersfield Town 4-0 in North London to move third in the Premier League table.
Spurs originally struggled to win midfield battles when they lost Dembele, who joined Chinese side Guangzhou R&F in January.
But the Frenchman has made that position his own in recent months, and Spurs legend King reckons that the 29-year-old has filled the void left by the all-action Belgium international.
“Obviously we know how big a player Dembele was for the club and how important he was,” the legendary centre-back told Sky Sports. “But I feel that Sissoko has almost filled that space.
“His physical presence in midfield, his power, very difficult to get past in defensive positions and he’s got that driving force that we know Dembele did have where he could beat a man and drive past people. And Sissoko’s showing that side as well.”
Sissoko has similar physical and footballing attributes to Dembele – once labelled a ‘genius’ by manager Mauricio Pochettino [The Standard] – and it’s refreshing to see Sissoko dramatically reverse his fortunes, having looked like a flop for so long in his Lilywhites career.
Like Dembele, Sissoko is a powerful runner, with the acceleration to surge through midfield unharmed by opposition players.
And although Pochettino might draft in a younger model this summer regardless, the urgency is definitely reduced by the former Newcastle man’s form in that role.
