Tottenham Hotspur picked up a victory over Bayern Munich last night, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side lifted the Audi Cup.

Ledley King and Graham Roberts have both congratulated Tottenham Hotspur on winning the Audi Cup.
Tottenham got past Bayern Munich on penalties yesterday, after drawing 2-2 with the German side in normal time.
Spurs had a 2-0 lead in the contest, but Bayern came back strong towards the end to force the game to penalties.
It was Tottenham who came through on spot kicks though, and Roberts and King were delighted to see their side lifting the trophy.
Tottenham, of course, have been criticised for not getting over the line and winning silverware, so this should have been a good experience for their squad.
Tottenham’s goals against Bayern came from Erik Lamela, who has enjoyed an excellent pre-season, and Christian Eriksen.
Spurs now have one more friendly match to play against Inter Milan at the weekend before they begin their Premier League campaign with a match against Aston Villa.
