Jim Beglin has praised Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on PremierLeague.com for his performance against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The former Liverpool and Leeds United star was impressed by Odegaard’s goal for Arsenal in the London derby.

The Norway international playmaker found the back of the net in the 64th minute.

Praise for Martin Odegaard for Arsenal v Fulham

Beglin said about Odegaard following his goal on PremierLeague.com: “Odegaard has led by example and if anyone deserves that bit of luck, it’s him because he’s been involved in everything they’ve tried to produce.

“It’s a kind break off Tosun and Leno has no chance, it’s totally out of his control – there’s not a lot he can do about that. Do Arsenal deserve that fortune? Yes, in my opinion.”

Impressive

In our view, Arsenal attacking midfielder Matin Odegaard played well against Fulham in the London derby this evening.

The former Real Madrid player was the creator-in-chief for the Gunners and helped them pick up all three points from the Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium in North London.

Odegaard took three shots, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 82.9%, took 91 touches, attempted five dribbles, made three tackles and one clearance, and put in two crosses.

Arsenal have won their opening four Premier League games of the season and are at the top of the table at the moment with 12 points from four matches.

For Arsenal to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, Odegaard has to stay on top of his game throoughout.
