LeBron James’ free agency has been the biggest talking point of the NBA offseason, and he has still not made his decision.
The 41-year-old is expected to join either the Cleveland Cavaliers or the Golden State Warriors this summer.
Both teams would immediately become legitimate title contenders if James were to join them on a bargain contract.
As he enters his 24th season, he is only interested in playing for a top team, but other factors will influence his decision.
In addition to his family and business ventures, many believe that James will prioritise golf in his next move.
The former LA Laker has recently become an avid golfer and appears to play multiple times every week.
Some NBA cities, such as San Francisco, have significantly more elite golf courses nearby than Cleveland.

LeBron James addresses whether golf will influence his next NBA decision
LeBron James has revealed that playing golf will not be a factor in his free agency decision, as it can wait until he retires.
JR Smith even explained recently that James will become a scratch golfer within three years of his retirement.
The four-time NBA champion already loves the game, but he will not have enough time to fulfil his potential until he quits basketball.
However, James seems willing to wait at least another 12 months before he takes golf more seriously.
“I love golf, I really do. But golf is a sport you can play for the rest of your life,” James said at the CNBC Sport x Boardroom Game Plan Summit in New York.
“I understand that if I’m in a cold city, the golf course will be closed in November, compared to the south, where the golf courses never close.
“My main focus when I’m playing the game of basketball is to keep the main thing the main thing, and I’ve always done that.”
James then joked that the weather is not a concern because “he’ll find a golf simulator if he’s in the cold.”
Wherever James goes next, we can expect to see him take to the finest local golf courses with his friends.
