Liverpool were far too good for Barcelona at Anfield last night.

Liverpool produced a magnificent performance against Barcelona in the Champions League last night winning 4-0, and dumping the five-time champions out in the process.
The Reds looked to be dead and buried after their 3-0 defeat to the Catalans in the Camp Nou last week, but Anfield was rocking from the very first whistle last night, and the players responded in style.
The result sent shockwaves around the football world, but Liverpool’s win also caught the attention of some sportsman outside the game.
There are not many bigger global sporting superstars than Lebron James, and the LA Lakers ace took to Twitter after last night’s game, congratulating Liverpool on their historic victory:
Liverpool’s attention will now turn back to domestic action, where nothing less than a win will do against Wolves on Sunday, if they are to win the Premier League title.
Manchester City will, of course, have to slip up away at Brighton as well, but regardless of that, Reds fans will be in dreamland right now, and Lebron’s tweet last night sums up exactly how the majority of them will be feeling this morning.
