Arsenal fans on Twitter are telling Theo Walcott to re-join the club after what he posted on Twitter yesterday.

Saturday marked five years to the day when Arsenal smashed Aston Villa 4-0 at Wembley to win the FA Cup.

And it was Walcott who opened the scoring for the Gunners that day, scoring after 40 minutes to send fans of the North London club wild.

Walcott, who is now at Everton following a £20 million move two-and-a-half years ago, only started four Premier League games that season due to injury.

And the 31-year-old has revealed on Twitter that scoring in the final is one of most treasured memories, prompting a friendly response from Arsenal supporters.

Here’s how they responded to the winger:

It hasn’t been a brilliant stint at Everton for Walcott yet, with the England international failing to hit double figures in terms of Premier League goals yet.
