Micah Richards has raved about Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold on Instagram.
The former Manchester City right-back has defended Trent Alexander-Arnold after the Liverpool youngster was left out of the latest England squad.
On Thursday, Three Lions’ head coach Gareth Southgate announced his squad for the World Cup qualifiers this month, and among the notable absentees was Alexander-Arnold.
Former England international and Sky Sports pundit Richards has defended Alexander-Arnold strongly on Instagram, as shown below.
Alexander-Arnold is not having the best of seasons, just like Liverpool, but the 22-year-old is a quality footballer who has shown over the years what he is capable of and how much potential he has.
According to WhoScored, the youngster has scored one goal and provided three assists in 27 Premier League matches and has provided two assists in six Champions League games for Liverpool this season.

It will be a bitter disappointment for the defender to be left out of the latest England squad.
What Alexander-Arnold now needs to do is work hard, get his form back, and show Southgate once again what he is capable of in the coming weeks.
