Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to react after Greg Taylor gave a ‘cheeky’ response to a journalist’s question during a press conference.
What’s the story?
Well, Ange Postecoglou has become well known in Glasgow for his blunt responses to silly questions in press conferences.
Most recently, the Celtic fans enjoyed his answer when asked about ticket allocations ahead of the 3-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen.
Now, it seems as if Taylor is learning from his manager, as he gave a crafty response when asked about competition for places.
As quoted by The National, the £3m man said: “We’re as well just copying and pasting this from every press I do – there is always going to be competition in every place at the size of this club – it’s normal.”
Clearly, Taylor is fed up of answering questions about competition for places at Celtic Park, and rightly so – his retort was an appropriate one.
At a club of Celtic’s stature, it would be odd if there wasn’t at least two quality options in each position.
Does Greg Taylor have a future at Celtic?

So far this season, the 24-year-old has made just 12 appearances for the Bhoys, due to injury problems.
Taylor is now back and available to Postecoglou, but where does he fit into the starting XI?
Josip Juranovic has impressed since his move from Legia Warsaw, while Anthony Ralston has taken his game up a level this season as well.

In that respect, we’re not sure Taylor will dislodge one of the full-back pairing anytime soon.
Especially after his time out injured, the 5-cap Scotland international has plenty of work to do.
For now, let’s see what the Celtic fans on Twitter have been saying about his ‘cheeky’ comment…
